We believe The Bible is the divinely inspired, inerrant Word of God. The Word of God is the final authority for salvation, faith and conduct of the believer (1:16, II Tim. 3:16) We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God (John 1:14). Jesus was conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of a virgin ( 1:21). Through his death on the cross Jesus paid the sin debt (John 3:16). We believe Salvation, or deliverance from sin, is made possible for all humanity through the sacrificial work of Jesus Christ on the cross (1:4, I Pet. 3:18). Salvation is of grace through faith (Eph. 2:8-9). We believe Jesus is God in flesh, and you must be born again of water and the Spirit and be filled with His precious Holy Ghost. We believe in Repentance (Acts 3:19), which is turning away from old sins. A person who repents tells God they don't want the sins of their past life anymore, and they want God to take control of their lives and heart. We believe in the emergence of water baptism in Jesus' name (Romans 6:1-4), which is the proof of a person's faith in the forgiving power of the blood of Christ and is essential. Once a person is buried in baptism, they're never the same! We believe in the baptism of THE HOLY GHOST (Acts 2:38) . Having been obedient to the gospel, the infilling of the Holy Ghost is inevitable. This happens when a person is filled with the Spirit of God and is evidenced by speaking in tongues, as the early church did. We believe The Holy Spirit is active in the world, convicting men of sin, regenerating the repentant, sanctifying believers, and guiding into all truth (1John 5:7, John 16;13-15, Gal. 5:16-17).
